Why do you need a website?

I talked with a friend recently and he told me he didn’t need a website, as he already had enough clients. I explained him that today website is not only for getting clients, but for showing your virtual presence.

1. Your customers expect it

Almost everyone is now looking for a website and checking it before contacting you. It should contain at least your contact details and tell people what you actually do.

2. It helps building trust

New clients might want to know more about you, your business and your expertise. Own website is a great place to learn more and attain that comfort level they seek.

3. It’s opened 24/7

You can always provide services like reservation, payments and you don’t need to be online all day. Time is very valuable now and if your customer can get something in the middle of the night – he would come back to you.

4. You’ll show up in Google results

By having a website potentially thousands of people are going to see it. You would be visible in google and would be well-recognised by others.

5. Customer support

Do your clients know how to contact you? Are they asking you the same questions all the time? If so, your website is a good place to put a contact form and FAQ to answer them all.

And of course:

You can sell more!
